Registration of the cargo via KIPIS system and filling in a general declaration (BDK)
KIPIS is the information system for the cargoes and goods transported through Klaipėda State Seaport and data exchange between the legal entities involved in the carriage of goods through Klaipėda Seaport and state authorities performing the port inspections.
KIPIS system registers the cargoes, if the cargo is transported through Klaipėda State Seaport, both on the entry and exit.
BDK is a temporary storage declaration. Electronic data of the general declaration and the goods provided by the declarant for the temporary storage are filled out in the specifications of the Entrepreneur Interface of the Customs Declaration Processing System (MDAS).
It is necessary for the temporary storage of the cargo under the customs office supervision.

The documents required for the preparation of KIPIS and BDK are as follow:
- The driver’s passport;
- Car and trailer technical passports;
- Cargo transportation documents (CMR, etc.);
- Packing list and/or specification (if any);
- Veterinary certificate (if any) of the consignment of the plant or animal origin.
- The trailer compliance certificate.
The following information is to be provided:
- Name of a border post;
- The driver’s mobile telephone number.
