List of documents required for T2:
- Freight shipping documents (CMR, etc.);
- Commercial invoice or Proforma invoice;
- Packing list;
- Other documents accompanying the goods;
- Other additional documents for the imported goods, if the legislation so requires. Data required for T2 submission: Border post or customs post of departure; Customs post of destination.
Information required for T2:
- Customs office where the customs transit clerance is started;
- Customs office where the customs transit clearnce is completed;
- Other relevant information related to imported goods, if requested;
- Contact details for clarification or comminication of information about service provided;
- Payer information. IMPORTANT: it is necessary to list all the transit offices through which the cargo with a T2 declaration will pass.
What else should you know about this service?
T2 transit declaration is for commodities with EU status (i.e. free circulation in the EU). Goods with EU status with a T2 declaration can be transported through non-EU countries of common transit, such as CH, NO, TR and several others.
T2 procedure only applies to commodities with EU status that are transported to another EU country through a non-EU transit office (s).
